While I love the occasional departure from wedding design, I must admit my heart belongs to the invitation industry. I believe that your wedding invitation is like a peak into your wedding planning world for your invitees. It’s like the extended trailer to an action packed thriller you can’t wait to see (that one was for the men). So it should represent all of the feelings you hope to share with friends and family on the big day. Love, warmth, personality, a glimpse into the beautiful beginning of your lifetime of happiness. I know it sounds sappy, but you can’t deny it. You want the invitation to make your guests excited to come share your day with you, and be a part of that life altering (get it?) moment and the fabulous party that is sure to follow! The invitation is also typically the jumping off point for so much of your wedding design. It sets the tone for the rest of the creative elements like the floral arrangements, the cake, maybe even the dress (okay, you probably already have that).
